JAAGO Foundation Youth Wing

Volunteer for Bangladesh

JAAGO Foundation's dynamic youth wing, mobilising young people across Bangladesh to lead change through volunteerism, civic action and community service.

Volunteer for Bangladesh, known as VBD, is JAAGO Foundation's dynamic, non-political youth wing. Established on 2 May 2011, VBD began with 40 passionate volunteers and has grown into one of Bangladesh's largest youth volunteer networks, with more than 60,000 registered volunteers.

After reaching all 64 districts, VBD has now expanded its presence to every upazila of Bangladesh — creating a truly nationwide platform for young people to serve, lead and take action within their own communities.
